Analog internet vendor US Robotics has inform its business partners about the newly released DSL and cable products, as the region readies for the age of broadband connectivity.

Speaking at a partners’ meeting in Dubai this week, Regional Sales and Operations Director, Peter Blampied, highlighted the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia as strong potential markets for broadband, saying that their advanced telecom infrastructure combined with strong local initiatives will help them move into the broadband age faster than many western European countries that have to deal with legacy infrastructure.

US Robotics is currently working with ISPs around the region on approval of its DSL solutions, the company has also announced that it will step up its Value Added Reseller program to ensure that end users in the SMB and consumer market have access to complete, affordable broadband solutions and support. Broadband products currently account for five percent of the company’s sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), a number that is expected to climb drastically as DSL starts being rolled out around the EMEA region. — (menareport.com)
