According to Meta, the new Orion AR glasses connect both the physical and virtual worlds and assist users in being more present in the virtual world while integrating it with reality.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta said: “This is the physical world with holograms overlaid on it. For now, I think the right way to look at Orion is as a time machine, these glasses exist, they are awesome and they are a glimpse of a future that I think is going to be pretty exciting.”

Additionally, the new glasses will enable users to have diverse digital experiences and provide a large 3D visual display. Made of magnesium alloy and powered by custom silicon designed by Meta, the lightweight glasses are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, allowing people to see each other’s faces, eyes, and expressions clearly.
