Mercator wins consultancy contract with UK's bmi

Mercator, the Dubai-based IT division of the Emirates Group, has added the UK’s bmi airline to its customer base. 

 

Bmi has selected Mercator to deliver the consultancy needed to implement the Oracle Financials and Procurement solutions across its business. The air carrier is one of the UK's longest established airlines, having been flying for well over 60 years. Carrying over ten million people per year, it currently serves more than 30 cities across Europe and the US with a fleet of 56 aircraft.  

 

“We now have the top three airlines in the UK using our services - bmi joins Virgin and BA as a Mercator customer,” said Senior Vice President for IT of Mercator, Joshua Koshy.  

 

Customers for Mercator products and services also include Air Algérie, Air Malawi, Air Malta, Air New Zealand, Air Niugini, Air Pacific, Air Tahiti Nui, Air Zimbabwe, British Airways, Emirates, Jet Airways and Kenya Airways. — (menareport.com)
