The Moroccan posts and telecommunications union announced a 24-hour strike for January 10th, Maghreb Arabe Presse reported Monday.
The union's press release was reported by the agency as saying that the stoppage was decided to protest the lack of response from national operators “Maroc Telecom” and “Barid Al-Maghrib” to the call to strike by the union’s council in the wake of its emergency meeting in Casablanca.
The union recalls “neglect” of human resources by the two operators and stressed the necessity to upgrade their financial situation and meet their expectations, according to MAP. - (Albawaba-MEBG)
