ALBAWABA - Billionaire Mark Cuban who is best known for appearing in the popular American reality show Shark Tank went viral across social media after showing interest in buying Elon Musk's X and Fox News calling it a "Mid-life crisis."
Usually, normal people would purchase a sports car or a hefty thing for their hobbies but Mark Cuban has his eyes on one of social media's most used platforms and the controversial American news outlet.
By the time of writing this article, Mark Cuban's net worth is currently sitting at a whopping $5.7 billion due to previously owning a sports team and being an early investor in the internet and cryptocurrencies. He purchased the Dallas Mavericks in 2000 for $285 million and sold it earlier this year for $3.5 billion, according to NBC 5.
Mark Cuban wants to buy Musk's X and Fox News
He announced his interest in purchasing X (Formerly known as Twitter) and Fox News during an interview with Wired’s Lauren Goode on Thursday.
He said about Fox News, "If I had enough money to do it, which I don't, I'd buy it in a heartbeat," claiming that purchasing it would be too expensive for him. He said, “I don't have $15 or $20 billion in cash sitting around."
During the interview, he also added that buying X was a distant dream and said, "I wish I could. There's no reason for Musk to sell it.
