LecTec Corporation announced new sales of its TheraPatch brand products into the international markets of Chile, Columbia, Dominican Republic, Israel and Ukraine. In addition, LecTec announced a distributorship relationship for distribution of its TheraPatch brand products into the international markets of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
Included in the mix of products are: TheraPatch Warm, used for arthritis and lower back pain, TheraPatch Vapor Chest, adult cough suppressant and TheraPatch Vapor Cherry for Kids, used as a cough suppressant in children which account for 90 percent of the products sold into these new markets.
"We are excited about the recent international expansion of our TheraPatch business, especially when you consider these new customers found our topical over-the-counter patch products via our website or after seeing our products here in the US at retail stores." commented Rodney Young, chairman, CEO and president.
"This new business has particular value for us because it does not require LecTec to cover any marketing support, coop advertising or related retail support expenses. We feel that the market awareness of our OTC topical patch products will continue to grow, creating new opportunity for our TheraPatch and NeoSkin products.”
“It is our plan to proactively market to select international distribution companies to grow this channel profitably. LecTec Corporation continues to explore strategic options, including investors, strategic partners, or an acquirer," Young concluded.
LecTec is a US-based health care and consumer products company that develops, manufactures and markets products based on its advanced skin interface technologies. Primary products include a full line of over-the-counter therapeutic patches for muscle aches and pain, insect bites, minor skin rashes, coughs due to colds and minor sore throats, and its new product NeoSkin Rejuvenation skin care products. — (menareport.com)
