Le Meridien Al-Aqah Beach Resort has announced extremely upbeat business results for its first ever summer season, with average room occupancy during the months of July and August standing at 80 percent.

Making this significant announcement, a senior representative of the hotel further said, that while beach-side properties in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) normally registered a dip in occupancy levels during the summer months, Le Meridien Al-Aqah Beach Resort had effectively countered this trend by targeting the large Meetings and Incentive (MICE) market segment, through its conference center, which opened early on in the summer.

A joint venture between Emirates Airlines and the Hotel and Resort Investment Company, Le Meridien Al-Aqah Beach Resort is located on a two kilometer sand beach, between the Hajar Mountains and the Indian Ocean. Some of the hotel’s facilities include a Wellness Center featuring Cleopatra Beauty Rooms, the Baywatch Village restaurant complex, four additional bars and restaurants and a professional diving center. — (menareport.com)
