According to Al-Qabas newspaper, Mr. Faisal Ali Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of the Bayan Investment Company, warned from the rising housing shortage in Kuwait since the government may not be able to fulfill its commitments in the future.
Mr. Al Mutawa estimates the current housing shortage at 2,000 houses per annum. He added that the government is currently able to provide 3,000 houses annually while the existing total demand stands at 5,000 houses.
