A recently published economic report by the National Bank of Kuwait estimates total Kuwaiti oil revenues at 4.65 billion Kuwaiti Dinars ($15 billion) for the fiscal year of 2001/2002, reported Al-Bayan. This figure translates into nearly a 30 percent drop compared with the previous fiscal year. The declining oil price per barrel went as low as $19-20 in 2001, having negative impacts on Kuwaiti oil revenues. — (menareport.com)
