The Emirates-based Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) is set to launch production at its new plant this week, reported the WAM news agency. The new location will have an annual production capacity of 94 million bottles of syrups, suspensions and oral drops and 40 million cases ointments and creams.
Julphar is a multinational pharmaceutical company with sales exceeding 500 million Emirati dirhams ($136 million) across 40 countries and four continents. It comprises of five pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, three of which are located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and one each in Ecuador and Germany. — (menareport.com)
