Medicom, the Hospital Information System has been selected by the Jordan University of Science & Technology to automate the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital (KAUH), stated a press release.
KAUH is built to provide state-of-the-art teaching and training facility for the university medical students as well as providing healthcare services to the residents of the surrounding governorates through a full range of Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Services and Advanced Specialties including obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, heart surgery and kidney dialysis.
KAUH is a seven-storey building spread over a total area of 100,000 square meters with an adjoining three-story building for outpatient services. The hospital has opened with an initial 150 beds and is expected to add another 500 beds over the next two to four years.
Medicom is the web-enabled, enterprise ready management solution catering to the various functionalities of healthcare establishments.
