( MEBG ) - A consortium of three foreign companies led by a German firm and
Kermanshah Petrochemical Plant has entered into a deal to build a
$486million petrochemical plant reported Irna on July 17.
The expected production capacity is 396,000 tons of Ammonia and 660,000
tons of Urea.
The Managing-Director of Kermanshah Petrochemical Industry Mohammad
Sadeq Masoumi-Lari said that the consortium provided 70 percent of the
capital required for the project through buy-back scheme.
Masoumi-Lari said several Iranian companies from the private
sector have voiced willingness to take part in building the fertilizer
plant in Kermanshah and the remaining 30 percent of the capital of
the project will be provided by a national subscription plan.
