Aiming to provide cheaper tickets and a more affordable experience for passengers, the Italian company Aviointeriors has designed and launched the 'Skyrider,' a completely new stand-up seat. The company stated that it has obtained the necessary regulatory approvals after passing safety tests.
The Skyrider features bicycle-like seating with a semi-upright passenger position, rather than the fully seated position found in conventional airplane seats.
