Israeli firm awarded armored vehicle contract for Iraq

Arotech Corporation’s Israeli subsidiary MDT Protective Industries was awarded its first contracts for armored vehicles for operation in Iraq, with two of these vehicles for an embassy in Baghdad, stated a press release. Two other vehicles are being assembled for delivery to Iraq later this year.  

 

MDT Protective Industries armors vehicles ranging from light tactical to passenger vehicles. Its US-based parent company Arotech provides defense and security products for the military, law enforcement and homeland security markets, including advanced zinc-air batteries, multimedia interactive simulators/trainers and lightweight armoring.  

 

Arotech is incorporated in Delaware under the name Electric Fuel Corporation and has corporate and sales offices in New York and Denver with research, development and production subsidiaries in Alabama, Colorado and Israel. — (menareport.com)
