Islamic Bank allocates $531 million to development projects

The Islamic Development Bank has recently allocated $531 million to finance a number of development projects in several Arab countries. In addition, the Bank approved non-refundable aid schemes to a number of non-member Islamic states, reported Al-Ittihad . Following an Executive Directors meeting in Jeddah, the Chief Director of the Bank, Ahmed Mohammed Ali, stated that it approved $98 million to finance 12 development projects in member states, in addition to three technical aid schemes, valued at one million dollars, to three separate countries. — (menareport.com)
