The Iraqi ministry of telecommunications intends to publish tenders for two nationwide fixed-line licences in the near future, the government has recently announced.
According to <i>AFP</i>, the ministry said it will soon launch a wireless local loop (WLL) network project in an attempt to provide fixed wireless telephony, Internet and fax services to business and residential customers throughout the country.
