Iran to set up tractor assembly line in Tajikistan

Ebrahim Pirnemati, deputy for sales and marketing affairs in Iran Tractor Manufacturing Co. told ISNA on Monday that the company would set up tractor assembly line in Tajikistan.


“Thanks to the readiness of Tajikistani part, the tractor assembly line with the production capacity of 3000 tractors per annum has been decided to be established in the country”, he said.

 

He added that the board of directors of Iran’s Tractor Manufacturing Co. will soon pay a visit to Tajikistan in order to finalize the contract and make decision on implementation stages.

 

Pirnemati expressed hope that the assembly unit in Tajikistan would become officially operational in September 2005.
