The Iranian government and the banking system are set to provide the public with low interest loans to encourage reinforcement and rebuilding houses in Tehran, a member of Tehran City Council Hassan Ziari said on Saturday.

According to IRIB, he said that article 5 commission of the municipalities has adopted plans to encourage rebuilding of old houses.

Ministry of Housing and Urban Development should announce new plans to encourage rebuilding of Tehran's old areas, he conveyed.

"The people should get involved in rebuilding their houses and at the same time, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and the banking system should place facilities at the disposal of the public to do so," he said. (menareport.com)
