InteliSys Aviation Systems has significantly expanded operations in the Middle East. The company is establishing sales, training and support facilities in the region with a view to supporting its clients operating in the region.
Air Arabia, based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), is a new InteliSys client and is the first low fare carrier in the Gulf Region. Air Arabia serves a number of centers in and around the Persian Gulf using Airbus A320 aircraft, and has experienced rapid growth as the low fare model gains acceptance within its target market.
"We see the Middle East, Africa and Asia representing the next emerging market for Low Fare and regional passenger air service," said President and CEO of InteliSys Aviation Systems, Ralph Eisenschmid. "There are both population density and traveling demographics to support the low fare model," he said. "We have been working with interests in the region for over four years, and are making rapid progress with a number of projects."
InteliSys markets its products in the Americas through a direct sales force and licensed resellers. InteliSys has agreements with resellers to market its products in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. — (menareport.com)
