Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced that it has awarded $150,000 in computing products to support young entrepreneurs working out of Lebanon with other entrepreneurs locally and around the globe in establishing new business initiatives in Lebanon.

HP's contribution, consisting of a selection of PCs and servers from its renowned business product range, will facilitate the operation of the winning commercial proposals and ensure a rapid go-to-market period. In addition, HP's Business Partner in Lebanon, CIS, has shown support for the program by offering complimentary product support and services.

Six winning business proposals were selected today during the prize ceremony held at the American University of Beirut from a larger number of entries submitted for review to the Entrepreneurship Network over the last year.
