Hilton International announced plans to open a new luxury resort hotel in Kuwait by the end of March, bringing the total number of Hilton properties in the Arabian Gulf to 14. Located 15 minutes from Kuwait City center and five minutes from the international airport, the new hotel is targeted at both the corporate and leisure markets, stated a press release.

Built on one of the longest private beaches in Kuwait, stretching for 1.7 kilometers, guests can either stay in the main 147-room hotel, or in one of the 80 two-bedroom chalets situated along the beachfront, together with an additional 62 self-contained studios fitted with a kitchenette for long-term accommodation.

The hotel’s business facilities include eight meeting rooms, a 24-hour business center, conference facilities and executive room amenities in all hotel rooms. For corporate events or banquets, the ballroom will cater for up to 1,000 people.

The property's outdoor activities include a Hiltonia Beach Club encompassing two outdoor swimming pools, a scuba diving center and various water-sports facilities. In addition, the hotel will possess the first Aquamedic Spa in the country, equipped with a thalasso-therapy pool offering specialized massage and hydrotherapy treatments.

Hilton International currently operates eight hotels in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), three in Saudi Arabia and one each in Bahrain and Oman. — (menareport.com)
