ALBAWABA – The Marauder's Map, a magical document that revealed the secrets of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films, was sold for around $302,000 (£239,000) at auction, making it the most expensive souvenir from the famous film series.

Propstore, one of the world's leading auction houses for entertainment memorabilia, recently hosted an auction featuring famous Harry Potter souvenirs and rare props. The auction, which concludes tomorrow, sold items for approximately $5.5 million (£4.4 million) since its opening day.

It is worth mentioning that Holmes suffered from severe injuries while working on the film series. Propstore confirmed that the proceeds from the auction will be dedicated to support his healthcare.

Among Harry Potter’s collectibles featured at the auction as the famous wooden wand, which was sold for nearly $120,000 (£94.5,000).
