Gulf Business Machines Qatar (GBM), sole Distributor for IBM products and services in the country, has appointed Christian Fleck as General Manager. The Austrian national takes over from Jean Farran who retires from the company at the end of this month after a 33-year career with IBM and GBM.
During the last five years Jean Farran has created an organizational structure and team model within the company, which has transformed GBM Qatar into an information technology (IT) service providing organization.
