Growing interest by Saudi firms in the Iraqi market

According to Kuna, more than 50 Saudi companies are to participate in the second exhibition for the reconstruction of Iraq that will be held in Jordan from April 4- April 7, 2005.

 

Mohammad Alhusseini said that the Saudi participation is the largest on the Arab level after Jordan. Alhusseini clarified that the Saudi side in the exhibition includes mainly services , infrastructure products, petrochemicals and plastic products , and agriculture machinery.

 

In addition, he said that Saudi companies in the last two years made trade deals in the Iraqi market that totaled 800 billion Riyals (213.3 billion Dollars). This sum does not include the indirect deals that is estimated at 4 billion Riyals (1.06 billion Dollars).
