The Hyatt International has assumed the management of the formerly known Royal Nile Tower hotel, under the name of Grand Hyatt Cairo.
The introduction of the hotel marks Hyatt International Hotels and Resorts entry into Egypt's capital, following the launch of Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh and Hyatt Regency Taba Heights in 2000.
Grand Hyatt Cairo is located within the business and commercial district, very close to Cairo's many cultural and tourist attractions. In addition to 714 guestrooms and suites, the 41-storey hotel offers a selection of over 12 restaurants, bars and lounges. The hotel has more than 3,000 square meters of meeting and function space spanning five ballrooms, three executive boardrooms, and several outdoor venues able to accommodate up to 1,200 guests.
There are 208 Hyatt Hotels and Resorts around the world, which are managed by two separate groups of companies. Subsidiaries of Hyatt International Corporation operate 62 hotels and 23 resorts in 38 countries, with an additional 17 hotels under development. Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a separate company, and its subsidiaries operate, lease and franchise 123 hotels and resorts in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. — (menareport.com)
