The US-based enterprise networks security firm, Asita Technologies Inc., and Global Telemation announced an extensive partnership that will lead to the launch of Asita's full range of products in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Middle East, Africa and South Asia (GMEAS) region.

The Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Security market is estimated at around $150 million annually for the GCC market with about $48 million between United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia alone.

Global Telemation represents ASITA for developing the markets in the GMEAS regions and will shortly launch its marketing campaign for the region to appoint distributors and enhance its reseller network.

Global Telemation established itself in the region in 1997 primarily for distribution of Telecom Outside Plant (OSP) and Network products covering the Gulf, Middle East, Africa, CIS and the sub-continent regions.

Global Telemation has secured contracts at government-backed telecom, mobile and internet service providers such as Etisalat UAE, Omantel Oman, TCI Iran, PTC Yemen, MOC Kuwait, STC, Saudi Arabia; QTel, Qatar and Batelco, Bahrain through its Channel Network. — (menareport.com)
