A golden Christmas Tree
Pro Aurum, a German company that sells precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, and other products, unveiled its new gold Christmas tree in Germany.
The new Christmas tree is made of approximately 2,018 gold coins and topped with a shiny gold star. The value of the gold coins used to create the tree is estimated at around $2.5 million (2.3 million euros), according to Reuters.
The gold coins look similar to the foil-wrapped chocolate coins that many children find in their Christmas stockings. Each coin weighs about one ounce, and the tree is topped with a giant 20-ounce coin. According to Pro Aurum, the entire tree weighs nearly 63 kilograms of pure gold.

It is worth mentioning the golden Christmas tree is about three meters high and was made in collaboration between Pro Aurum and the Austrian Mint, one of the world's leading coin producers.
The tree was assembled in one hour and will be displayed afterwards in Pro Aurum’s showroom in Munich until December 15. Notably, Germany celebrates Christmas on December 25.
