GAC Dubai’s MV Silver Shadow, operated by Silversea Cruises, sailed into Dubai's Port Rashid on October 31, 2003 with a total of 269 passengers on board.
The vessel will depart on November 2, on its onward journey to Muscat. Some 238 passengers will disembark in Dubai, 75 will embark and 31 passengers are in transit.
“We handled over 80 percent of cruise vessels calling at Dubai prior to the Iraq conflict, said Managing Director of GAC Dubai, Per Zachrisson. “GAC Dubai, as in the past, continues to work closely with DTCM to promote Dubai as a first class cruise destination.”
GAC is represented in more than 200 offices covering over 1,000 locations worldwide. This facilitates communications as well as the co-ordination of activities of a vessel traveling from destination to destination. — (menareport.com)
