A free trade agreement (FTA) between the United States and the UAE may be inked as soon as this year, according to a senior US official in Dubai.
However, said Commercial Attachי, US Commercial Service in Dubai Patrick Wall, such an agreement may take an unspecified time to sign, according to <I>Khaleej Times</I>.
FTA talks between the two counties resumed this month regarding the proposed agreement, after working on it since March of last year.
