French Egima, a subsidiary company of electronic components manufacturer Egide, has invested €4.2 million ($3.9 million) in the construction of a new production facility in Casablanca, Morocco, according to Credit du Maroc Capital (CDMC). The 3,000 square meters site will initially employ 10 people.
Founded in 1986, EGIDE designs, manufactures and markets hermetic packages (passive electronic components) to shield electronic devices used in extreme conditions. Key markets are the space industry, defense, civil aviation and telecommunications. — (menareport.com)
