Dubai Bank’s credit card members are entitled to free life and household insurance provision worth up to 125,000 Emirati dirhams ($34,000). In the unlikely event of the death under any circumstances of a card member, the next of kin receives an immediate payment from the bank of Dh 100,000 for gold card member and Dh 50,000 for silver.
Members need not submit any forms or documents or undergo any checkups to avail of the life insurance facility. Household insurance provision protects all items against theft, damage of fire up to Dh 25,000.
Further benefits featured on the card include comprehensive travel benefits, comprising a complimentary e-Gate card, one million Emirati dirham worth of free travel insurance, free travel inconvenience insurance, and other special travel privileges, including the ‘Travel Assist’ service, a dedicated tele-ticketing facility, which offers five percent cash back on all travel bookings.
