In an unprecedented move, the Paris Bourse Authority has agreed to list a Tunisian firm, the Saudi-Tunisian Re-Insurance House Company, on the Paris Bourse, according to Al-Hayat daily. The Tunisian based firm has an estimated capital value of $30 million; this figure is expected to double to $60 million following its posting on the bourse on September 5.
Re-Insurance House is reportedly planning to expand its operations in the Middle East and Africa. New company branches were recently opened in Turkey, Lebanon, Algeria and Senegal. Re-Insurance is a subsidiary of the Dallah Al-Baraka Group, chaired by Shaikh Salah Kamal. — (Mena Report)
