ALBAWABA - Following an incident during his visit to Berlin, Reza Pahlavi's administration said that it has begun a thorough evaluation of security preparations.
The office pointed to Berlin police as the organization in charge of event security in a statement, noting that protection during travel abroad is the duty of host authorities. It further said that Pahlavi is doing well and that the incident's circumstances are still being looked thoroughly.
Details of the incident
Shortly after Pahlavi spoke at a conference on Thursday, the incident happened outside a press briefing. Police said that someone hurled a crimson liquid—later determined to be tomato juice—at him.
