The newly established Dubai Executive Council will help ensure the emirate’s strong economic growth, said Director General, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Abdul Rahman Al-Mutaiwee, at the opening of the Chemtex and Corrosion industry show.

During a tour of the exhibition, Al-Mutaiwee said the council’s existence is timely to guide Dubai’s future development. “The world today is facing many challenges. The Executive Council will support the government’s efforts to meet these challenges and ensure Dubai’s future prosperity,” Al-Mutaiwee said.

Chemtex and Corrosion Middle East 2003 is one of 68 shows scheduled to take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Center (DIEC) this year, a 45 percent increase on 2002. Organized by International Expo-Consults (IEC) the exhibition is 25 percent larger than last year. It features 70 companies and industry organizations, with national pavilions from India, and, for the first time, China. — (menareport.com)
