Etihad Scraps All Flights to Tehran, Starting Next Month

Etihad Airways will be suspending its flights to Iranian capital Tehran as of next week, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier said this week. 

In a statement, the carrier said it will start reducing its five weekly flights to Tehran to twice a week, from December 25 until January 23.

Passengers booked to travel before January 23 can switch to an alternative travel date between December 25 and January 23 or be refunded, according to WAM. Those who booked after January 24 will be fully refunded. 

No reason was given for the move.
