ALBAWABA - Hotel prices in the UAE decreased sharply amid regional tensions linked to the Iran war, which triggered a wave of travel cancellations.

Luxury hotels in cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi are offering big discounts in an effort to attract visitors and fill empty rooms, creating unexpected bargains for travelers willing to book now.

Al Bawaba checked several sites, including Booking.com and noticed a slash in hotel prices across the UAE, which opens the door for travelers to book luxury stays at a fraction of the usual cost.

For instance, the one-night stay at Prime Burj Vista Residences with a Burj Khalifa view costs $191, compared with the regular price of $272. This price is for a two-bedroom apartment.

In addition, Andaz Family Suites by Hyatt- Palm Jumeirah offered the one-bedroom family suite with a kitchen for $123 instread of $203 on normal days.

On the other hand, one person shared a video online showing an almost empty beach in the UAE, which normally used to be full of people.

It is worth noting that the UAE has been targeted by Iranian missiles since late February after the U.S. and Israel announced a joint attack on Tehran. In revenge, Iran started striking Tel Aviv and Washington's assets in the region.
