Emirates SkyCargo is adding a third weekly freighter frequency to Shanghai, to meet escalating global demand for Chinese products.
Shanghai, one of the fastest growing cities in the world, produces and exports a tremendous variety of capital and consumer goods including textiles, garments, specialized dies, lathes, electronics, synthetics, glassware, leather goods, stationery products, and hardware.
Additional freighter services mean that, besides serving the increasing outflow of those goods, SkyCargo can now source and ferry much needed supplementary cargo to Shanghai such as machinery, equipment, spares, chemicals and auto components from around the world to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
The flexibility offered by freighters ensures that finished products are quickly and efficiently transported across Emirates' network, which includes China's main trading partners: USA, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Singapore and Taiwan. — (menareport.com)
