ALBAWABA - A federal judge has ordered Elon Musk to testify again about his purchase of "X" (formerly Twitter), giving both Musk and the SEC a week to agree on when and where the interview will happen.

The judge's order, issued last night, makes official a previous ruling from December favoring the SEC.

A judge told Elon Musk he has to talk to investigators about his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter. The judge gave them a week to agree on when and where to meet.

This comes after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued Musk. They want him to explain his purchase of Twitter, which he renamed "X" later.

Musk didn't want to talk to the SEC, saying they already interviewed him twice and accused them of bothering him. But the judge said the SEC has the right to ask for information. If Musk and the SEC can't agree on a meeting, the judge will decide for them.

Musk quietly bought Twitter shares, eventually disclosing he owned over 5%, but he delayed telling the SEC, potentially buying more shares at a lower price.
