The European Investment Bank (EIB) announced that it is willing to grant loans to North African Countries in order to finance the construction of a coastal highway connecting the Arab states, reported Al-Hayat . The new 3,000 kilometer long highway will link Casablanca with Tunisia through Algeria. The highway project is among one of the bank’s strategic projects in the North African region. Other schemes include investment in environment protection, railways, energy and rural development. — (menareport.com)
