Egyptian contractors build 504 residential apartments in Iraq

Egyptian contracting companies are currently building 504 residential apartments in Iraq, reported Al-Hayat . The Iraqi Minister of Housing, Maen Ibrahim, praised this Egyptian initiative and urged Egyptian consulting firms to plan similar building projects in Iraq.  

 

The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Commerce, Yussuf Botrous Ghali, stated that Egyptian-Iraqi bilateral trade is on the rise. The Minister added that both countries are making efforts to increase Egyptian merchandise exports to Iraq. Ghali estimated Egyptian exports to Iraq at $1.7 billion in 2001. — (menareport.com)
