Egypt expects to export three billion dollars worth of merchandise to Iraq

The Iraqi Minister of Commerce, Mohammed Mahdi Saleh, anticipates the value of Egyptian exports to Iraq to increase to three billion dollars by the end of 2002, reported Al Watan. The Minister added that Egyptian exports to Iraq totaled two billion dollars and they are expecting it to hit three billion dollars by the end of the present year. Meeting the Egyptian Prime Minister in Cairo yesterday, Saleh discussed ways of facilitating the flow of Egyptian exports to Iraq. — (menareport.com)
