Abu Dhabi Food control Authority issued a decision to shut down two establishments, 'Al Saad Bakery', and 'Molten Me' restaurant, for flouting rules despite earlier warnings.
Thamer Rashid Al Qasimi, official spokesman of the Authority, said that the report submitted by Food Control revealed the reasons behind shutting down the two establishments.
He added that the managers of both establishments flouted previous violations, including not meeting the required levels of hygiene, which affect the quality of food they served.

Al Qasimi explained that the bakery received three violations in December, including similar violations recorded in October regarding insects found in the food-making area.
Additionally, Molten Me was closed after recording serious violations in December, similar to violations recorded in July and August, which is the use of expired products.
The decision to keep them closed will stay until both establishments resolve the problems, he noted.
