Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ) based SMC Networks Middle East had signed a major networking contract with the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Saudi Arabia which will involve linking 15,000 personal computers and 3,000 notebooks used by 18,000 students, worth five million Emirati dirhams ($1.3 million).
Authorized SMC System Integrator Al-Alahmiah advised MOE School to implement a solution comprising SMC Fiber Switches in 16 port and 24 port. The MOE had researched various alternative solutions and found SMC's solutions to be the most suitable for their requirements as well as the best value for money and the simplest to install.
