The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) organization is to undergo restructuring, six years after it its debut, as the region’s biggest shopping and entertainment event, announced DSF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hussain Ali Lootah. The restructuring is part the DSF committee’s efforts to strengthen its organization and motivate people to work harder to make DSF one of the biggest tourism events in the world, according to a company press release.

As part of the restructuring, Ibrahim Saleh becomes Chief Operating Officer (COO), Saeed Al Nabouda is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Elham Abbas is Corporate Communications Director, Laila Suhail is Corporate Alliance Director, Ibrahim Abdulrahim is Administration Director and Najwa Al-Rahma is Special Projects Director.

Commenting on the restructuring Lootah said: “DSF carved out a new position for the emirate of Dubai which was earlier famous as a commercial center and a venue for conferences and trade events… DSF has grown from strength to strength because of the commitment of Government departments that are members of the Organizing Committee responsible for creating innovative projects and activities during the Festival”.

“DSF became an independent body following its success in the very first year,” Lootah commented. — (menareport.com)
