Dubai is to host an exhibition catering for the international commercial architecture, property design and development industry. Cityscape 2002, officially supported by the Dubai Development and Investment Authority and organized by IIR Exhibitions and Conferences, will make its debut alongside the Fourth International Property Investment & Management Conference (IPIC), taking place at Dubai’s Emirates Towers Hotel, from December 14 –17, 2002.
“The Dubai Development and Investment Authority is committed to promoting the economic development of Dubai and to pursuing a policy of economic diversification that will seek to achieve growth in a number of key sectors, including the residential and commercial property sector,” said Saeed Al-Muntafiq, director general of Dubai Development and Investment Authority.
“Cityscape will highlight the tremendous inroads that have been made in building the infrastructure required to support this growth and the groundbreaking and pioneering projects this growth has entailed and continues to necessitate. It will also shed light on revolutions in urban development, challenges facing the industry in general and the region in particular, as it struggles with rapid economic and demographic expansion and the tremendous investment opportunities it gives rise to,” added Al-Muntafiq.
The exhibition’s key supporters are looking to source architects; design specialists; consulting engineers; project managers; lighting and landscape architects; integrated building system providers; security consultants; energy management firms; major contractors; financiers; façade technology and exterior cladding experts; Information Technology (IT) system suppliers and external works companies. — (menareport.com)
