Dubai land deals reported

The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday peaked at Dhs332.72 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs69 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs264.02 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 9 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Emirates Hills Second that was sold for Dhs28.5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Nahda Second acquired for the sum of Dhs12.928 million and another in Al Mararr for Dhs8 million.

 

The Al Satwa area was the most active in terms of the yesterday's sales, with some 2 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Emirates Hills Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs28.5 million, followed by the Al Nahda Second area, Dhs12.93 million, and Al Mararr area, Dhs8 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 30183.62 sq ft in the Emirates Hills Second area, which went for Dhs28.5 million. A 25856 sq ft plot in the Al Nahda Second Area was acquired for Dhs12.93 million, while 8000 sq ft of Mirdif was disposed of for Dhs1.84 million.

 

During the period under review 18 mortgages worth Dhs263.42 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs87.8 million for an area at Port Saeed. There was another for Dhs65.25 million on an area in Al Nahda First.
