Dubai: Land deals on April 22

The total value of land transactions in Dubai on April 22 peaked at Dhs351.58 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs62 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs289.77 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 7 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Hamriya that was sold for Dhs28 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Um Al Sheif acquired for the sum of Dhs14 million and another in Um Suqaim Second for Dhs11 million.

 

The Al Barsha Third area was the most active in terms of the April 22's sales, with some 1 transactions. Al Hamriya followed it with onw sale.

 

During the period, Al Hamriya recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs28 million, followed by the Um Al Sheif area, Dhs14 million, and Um Suqaim Second area, Dhs11 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 20000 sq ft in the Al Hamriya area, which went for Dhs28 million. A 20000 sq ft plot in the Al Mezhar Second Area was acquired for Dhs2.26 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Barsha Third was disposed of for Dhs2.55 million.

 

During the period under review 8 mortgages worth Dhs176.85 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs150 million for an area at Trade Center First. There was another for Dhs87 million on an area in Al Safouh Second.
