Diwan opens new Baghdad office

Diwan Software has opened a new office in Baghdad, Iraq under the name of Diwan-Raqueam. The company will not only supply the local Iraqi market but provide software and services to the international IT industry.  

 

Diwan-Raqueam has provided publishing software and systems to a number of newspapers in Iraq and is a developer of the new internet technology industry having supplied and installed over 30 new satellite internet systems all over Iraq.  

 

The office’s entire staff is comprised of Iraqi nationals thus ensuring a stable operation for the company. Also, the company has many people working under contract for tasks requiring a large number of human resources like data processing and entry. The areas of possible cooperation include joint-ventures especially for long term software projects development and dealership for the supply of hardware related to the IT industry, as coordinators between companies abroad and customers in Iraq.  

 

Based in London, England, Dubai Internet City, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Amman, Jordan and now Baghdad, Iraq, Diwan Software develops the use of Arabic on the computer. Diwan manufactures and sells the high-end Desktop Publishing applications Ready, Set, Go and the Al-Nashir al-Sahafi which have significant markets in the US and Middle East. — (menareport.com)
