United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Finance and Industry and Chairman of the Dubai Islamic Bank Board (DIB) Board, Mohammed Bin Kharbash inaugurated the new private banking facility at the main Al-Shuala branch in Deira on Saturday. The bank will soon open new private banking facilities in its Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Al-Ain branches.
Established in 1975, DIB is considered to be the first Islamic bank in the world that has implemented the principles of Islam in all its practices. It was founded with the active assistance of the UAE Government, the Central Bank and the people of the UAE. — (menareport.com)
