Diamond Investments, emerging leaders in Dubai’s private real estate market and the second largest property developer in the luxury resort of the Dubai Marina, in terms of buildings under development, is making a real name for itself. As Diamond Investments completes the superstructure of its first building and construction work simultaneously begins on the third project in its six building property portfolio, the company’s rapid progress is clearly shining forth.
Marina Diamond One was the first project launched by successful property developers Diamond Investments last year. Since the project’s initial unveiling, it, like the company itself, has moved from strength to strength, meeting and surpassing targets and construction schedules.
Faris Saeed, General Manager for Diamond Investments, said: “As work on the superstructure is now 100 percent complete Diamond Investments is focusing on delivering quality concrete work and finishings. For over two months now progress has been made on the inside of the building at a steady rate. With much of the block-work and plastering well underway, the painting and ceramics stages have already begun, as have the preparations for the aluminum and glass clad exterior. Marina Diamond One is on track to open its doors to residents at the end of the year.”
As Marina Diamond One enters the final stages of the construction process the second building in the series is not far behind. Scheduled to complete by September 2006 the shoring, excavation and piling work for Marina Diamond Two is already finished. Concrete work on this 15 storey residential structure is now underway.
With its end date scheduled for exactly one year after the keys are delivered to residents of Marina Diamond One, the third building in the series is also on track for delivery. “With the shoring work completed in just three weeks, and the excavation and piling phase estimated to take around five to six weeks, it really will not be long until we move on to the brick-work for Marina Diamond Three as well.”
Commenting on the rapid pace of production, Saeed said: “We are working hard to deliver on all of the buildings in the Marina Diamond portfolio, whether they are in the design, construction or finishing stages. With the shoring designed and ready for implementation, we are ready to start work on the fourth building in the series. This is a really exciting time for us and we are pushing ahead with the work and making progress as we do so. It is a great feeling to see it all come together.”
